Prospects Baseball Academy

Carson Carroll and the staff of Prospects Baseball Academy have been assigned as the Virginia District 8 (North East Region) Coordinators for NTIS/USA Baseball. The National Team Identification Series (NTIS) is a nationwide baseball talent search conducted each year by USA Baseball. It was developed to provide greater access to the USA Baseball National Team selection process. Its purpose is to identify the best 13U, 15U and 17U baseball players in the land through a series of state and regional events that culminate at the NTIS Finals in October. The State of Virginia has been broken up into 8 Districts/Teams, all of which will compete in the The NTIS Stars of Virginia Showcase and Games July 5th through 7th, 2011 in Richmond, VA. From the approximately 230 players who will attend the NTIS Stars of Virginia Showcase at each age level, 18 per age group will be selected to advance to the North Atlantic NTIS Regional Final in Pennsylvania in August. The North Atlantic NTIS Regional Finals will in turn select 18 players to advance to the USA Baseball NTIS Finals in Cary, North Carolina in September.
